Commitment
The Founder's role
The Founder owns the land and holds legal title — because current legal systems require a human or recognized entity to do so. The Founder is not the ruler. The Founder is the custodian and executor: contributing the land, connecting collective decisions to the real world, and acting only within what the governance process approves.
The land cannot be sold — not by the Founder, and not by any governance vote. That is Rule 1 of the ZeroOne Constitution and no majority can override it. The Founder will not transfer, lease, develop, or encumber the land outside the approved governance process either. Exceptions are limited to urgent actions needed to protect the land, comply with law, or prevent serious loss. Any exception is reported publicly in the Decision Log immediately.
When the collective approves an action, the Founder executes it if it is lawful, feasible, and funded. If it cannot be completed, the reason is recorded publicly.
Endgame
The transfer
When the ZeroOne governance process reaches full participation — all available seats voted and the collective having exercised its decision-making authority — the Founder commits to formally transferring legal title of the land to the ZeroOne Land collective.
This transfer will be notarized and executed either by the Founders directly or by a licensed, established real estate company under Mexican property law. The process will be carried out transparently, recorded publicly in the Decision Log, and completed as soon as the legal infrastructure exists to recognize the collective as a title-holding entity.
Until that infrastructure exists, the Founder holds title as custodian. The transfer is not conditional on any financial outcome — it is a commitment made at the start of the experiment, not at the end.
